When you submit a contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message. Form submissions are processed by Formspree, Inc. (a form-handling service) and delivered to RISE Flood Recovery Consultancy by email for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.
When you request our free guide, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you the guide. We do not add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.
In the course of a consultancy engagement, we may collect additional personal data relevant to your situation, including details about your property, your insurance policy, your insurer and loss adjuster, your household, and the circumstances of your flood. This data is collected only as necessary to provide the services agreed in your consultancy agreement.
When you purchase a Section 19 Case Assessment, we collect: your name, email address, and property postcode; your answers to a structured questionnaire about your flood event, your property, your council's response, and (where relevant) your insurance situation; and records of your consent to our Assessment Terms of Use and, if given, your optional consent to receive occasional flood recovery guidance by email. Your payment is processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details — we receive only a payment reference, and confirmation that payment was made.
Your questionnaire answers are processed automatically — including by an artificial-intelligence service (Anthropic) acting under contract as our processor — to generate your personalised written assessment, which is delivered to you by email. Your answers, order record, and a copy of your report are stored securely so that we can provide the service, handle any refund, and send the small number of scheduled follow-up emails relating to your assessment (from which you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email).
This website uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are read most). Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and device/browser type. We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not use advertising or social media tracking pixels. You can opt out of analytics at any time — see section 8 (Cookies). Beyond this, the only data stored in your browser is a cookie recording your cookie consent preference.
